Fashion weeks bring the brewing pieces that will hit the streets for that entire year to pass by. While some trends make it to the everyday essentials, some are considered fads. But then there are some trends/pieces which are weird enough to give you second thoughts like the ‘Ugly Dad Sneakers’ remember? However, what is surprising is that such polarizing views make them a hit! For this year, sitting on that list are the ‘Moon Boots’. These astronaut-inspired ankle-high and knee-high boots have nothing sophisticated in their appearance and all we feel is as if someone stuffed them with gas as they look overly humongous.
To be honest, we are quite fascinated by how one could walk in them. To eliminate this fascinating doubt, we saw fashionistas on the streets of Copenhagen strolling the streets in these. Alongside a couple of high end fashion brands like Chanel, Dior showed their take on the Moon boots that were visible in their collection showcased on the runways.
We are still dazed if moon boots will be a fad or make it to the essentials list about which we are not very positive that that would happen. But you never know right!
