Bite Beauty is a Canadian cosmetic brand, founded by Susanne Langmuir in 2011.
Susanne Langmuir believes in the saying that, “You are what you eat. What you put on your lips, you eat”
So her idea was to create a line of lip products made solely from natural ingredients.
Bite Beauty was created to offer customers vegan and cruelty-free products that appeal to the modern consumer.
Bite Beauty mainly sells lip products such as lip crayons, lip stain, lipstick, and lipgloss. It recently launched face and eye makeup products too. They are available in a variety of shades, and finishes. It is especially popular among young savvy consumers, who look for products with a diverse range of shades and that align with their values.
Up till today the lip products are handmade in Toronto. Bite Beauty has Lip Labs where they show customers how they make their best selling lipsticks. Customers can book an appointment to make their own perfect shade of lipstick in their Lip Lab located in Toronto.
Bite Beauty also has Lip Labs in New York and San Francisco.
The products have been featured in multiple notable magazines such as Allure, Cosmopolitan, Byrdie, etc as one of the best vegan and cruelty brands.
