The ‘Cottage Core’ trend, is a dreamy and artsy fashion aesthetic started by teens and young adults to bring the beauty of rural life to the limelight. It’s soft, beautiful, and very delicate bringing out the side of clothes that blooms in the gardens and lets you flow. While centred around the ideas of simplistic living and the melody of nature, it brings out a romantic harmony.
Now that we are done with fantasizing about Cottage Core, let us tell you about all you need to know and wear, to be that girl!
PRAIRIE DRESSES
The first element is a no-brainer and quite essential for you to feel all decked up and get that feeling of being in the Renaissance era. It’s all about the high necklines, floor touching hems, and puffy shoulders that make a dress, a true Prairie’s feel.

Raffia bags, to be honest, are more of an aesthetic. It’s the perfect clickable insta-friendly bag that can be added to the scene even without using it. We love how raw and rustic it is, yet still managing to have its own place that makes it stand out. And, you really can’t miss the raffia in the cottage core scenario!
