IN THE SPOTLIGHT: PEACE COLLECTIVE

Written by: Haransh Saini

Brands of today be it clothing, accessories or even lifestyle are focusing more on sustainable and ethical practices that also involve giving back to the earth. Patagonia and All birds have been some of the brands synonymous for giving back to the planet but now we see a rising inclination of not only the new and local budding brands but even the existing brands are actively changing their models of operation.

Talking about brands who are working on the model of giving back to the causes, Peace Collective is an ideal example of it. Peace Collective  is one brand that has stood out the most to us in the current times and the best part is we can actually tap through which causes the money to go into. That also highlights the Brand’s level of being transparent and loyal to its audience as well as the customers.

Their MOTTO – Look good, do good, feel good is the true voice of the brand that is indicative of its principles and what they as a brand stand for.

Three key causes that the brand supports are :-

  • Food Insecurity
  • Mental Health Research
  • Refugee Aid

Religiously and devotedly supporting the above causes they have proudly been able to donate

$164,937 & their future goal is to raise $1,000,000 by the year 2030.

Not only this but The Peace Collective, also collaborates with some of the renowned charitable organizations such as CAMH in support of mental health. What we absolutely love & respect about their dedicated contributions is the fact that the donations are personalized and customized to the cause.

For example –

For every purchase from the Peace collection, it goes  towards supporting the UNHCR Canada’s efforts in protecting refugees who were forced to flee due to violence.

OR

For every purchase from the HOME IS / Fan Collective collections, three meals are donated to a Canadian in need through our partner food banks.

This truly shows how committed they are as a brand towards the planet, the key causes and also making sure they provide quality to people.

While we almost love all of their pieces which are a blend of a cool, athleisure vibe and so vocal about the important causes of the current times, below is a list of a few pieces we really want to grab our hands on.
