Hello everyone, welcome back! It’s Wednesday today and it’s time for some mid-week updates of the fashion industry. So, here are a few that might be helpful.

  • Retail businesses

As we know it’s been really difficult for fashion retail stores but there are companies that are picking up and getting back in the game. Isn’t it great to find a silver lining in every situation? In this, while many stores chose to close, there are huge store sales coming up. To update you all, we have a list of retail stores who are offering great discounts on their merchandise.

Frank and oak:

A Montreal based company named Frank and Oak is having a huge closing sale at almost all their locations and 90% of their stores wont re-open. While it’s bad news for brand admirers but why not profit from the discounts for now?

Aldo shoes:

It’s been reported that 40% of Aldo accessory stores will either not reopen or stay shut for the time being. The company believes that the government funds are simply not enough.

Reitmans:

Reitmans is a parent company for RW&CO, Hyba, Addition Elle, Thyme maternity, penningtons and Smart set. While Reitman’s chose to open a few stores, Addition Elle and thyme maternity might stay closed forever.

  • New Boy de Chanel makeup

Chanel launched a new makeup range for men. It’s a complete line for a natural look. It consists of mainly 3 products, a foundation, brow pencil and a lip balm for smoothed lips.

  • Air Jordan: the capsule collection

Even during the pandemic, Dior and Kim Jones partnered with Jordan brand and launched Air Dior collection. The collection of ready-to-wear accessories completes the collaboration, which was a hit.
