The at-home beauty technology sector has seen a tremendous growth in times of pandemic, L’Oréal’s Perso, an AI-powered at-home system that analyzes the skin. Such mobile applications are purely digital; they track and analyze the skin for specific purposes.

Philip Lim’s Antibacterial Collection

As athlete leisure takes the stage this year, consumers are equally worried about sanitization of the clothes they wear outside their homes, therefore the designer came up with a collection of functionality and antibacterial properties. For the collection, Lim partnered with Fuze Biotech to treat every piece with a water-based solution that fights bacteria, keeps you cool, wicks moisture, and reduces odor. Unlike chemical processes, Fuze is misted over fabrics and finished garments alike, and sinks into fibers rather than sitting on top.

Ela with Sasha Exeter collaborated for a vegan handbag

The Toronto based accessory designer Ela Aldorsson collaborated with Sasha Exeter for a limited-edition vegan version of Exeter’s belt bag made of croc leather and 100% recycled lining made out of plastic waste. The bag was shortly sold out after its launch on Monday.
