For those who live in Canada, we are sure you can relate when we say the Canadian winters ain’t no joke! As much as we desire to look all fashionable and chic, that one gust of wind makes you want to hop in the warmest piece of clothing and forget your fashion moments in an instant.

So when it’s peak winter time we are always on the lookout for key pieces that can protect you from cold ‘FOR REAL’ and yet still leave a statement. According to our trend hunt, last year shearling coats and jackets were a major trend and we see them not leaving us this season too! To be honest, we are glad because it was too soon to bid them our goodbyes as this is one piece that not only stands the cold but it’s chic and versatile too.

Amaka made quite an effortless attempt by pairing the shearling jacket with her everyday jeans and a white collared sweater that is half tucked in. What we absolutely love about this combination is how casual yet at the same time well-finished & effortless it looks!
