Started in 2020 during the pandemic, Sophie Grace is a fashion company started by a woman for women. Emma May, the founder of Sophie Grace, started this company for working women who spent unnessaccary time in the morning picking out their outfits.

She created pieces in a way that everything matches everything. You can pick any top and any bottom from their products and they’d go perfectly together. This interesting idea stemmed from her own struggles in the morning. Starting out as a Lawyer turned real estate agent to now founder and CEO of Sophie Grace. Emma May has been very successful with her venture.

All of Sophie Grace’s pieces are custom dyed using the pantones to ensure seamless matching. They have set out to create comfortable, elegant, classy and yet simple clothing with high quality fabric manufactured mostly in Vancouver.

Sophie Grace also offers personal virtual styling for customers with their in-house stylist Carl Abad who will help you get your perfect outfits ready. If you live in either Calgary or Vancouver, we’d urge you to visit one of their showrooms to get an IRL experience.

We’ll be sharing our recommendations from their shop. Regardless of our top picks, every piece at Sophie Grace is a must have.

The Edith dress is a lovely short dress, capable of various looks. It’s simple, elegant and sexy. Pair it with a blazer for an office look, with heels and clutch for a night out with or with sneakers for a stroll in the city. It also has pockets! Who doesn’t need a dress with pockets?

The frida shirt is an oversized shirt. Available in black, white and navy. It can be dressed up or down. It can become a great layering piece in your closet. Wear it underneath dresses or over crop tops or just as it is and it’ll look absolutely divine.

Flare pants are all the rage right now and these ones from Sophie Grace are a must have. Its high rise and perfect for absolutely any occasion. Pair with a sexy top to go out or a turtleneck to go to work. We always need some flare in life anyways.

Just as the name describes, it can be both a dress or a vest. Versatility is the most important when it comes to building a closet. It comes with belt loops, so put on your favorite belt to turn into a dress or ‘unwrap’ it for a surprise.
