Written by: Samayra Bahl

When it comes to being all chic, Canadian fashion designers know exactly how to make their style trendy yet classy. Today, we’re featuring Beaufille which means “handsome girl” in French, was founded by Parris and Chloé Gordon. In Autumn/Winter 2016, the Gordon sisters made their first debut in New York Fashion Week with MADE which couldn’t be more vivid. The duo and their label have been featured in Vogue, Forbes, Women’s Wear Daily, FASHION, Glamour, Nylon, Style.com and more.

The label was founded and designed by Chloé and Parris Gordon in 2009. It was originally known as Chloé comme Parris. But later in April 2013, the name of the company was changed to Beaufille. The sisters have completed their métier from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD). The sisters have mentioned quite often about Parris having a more feminine style and Chloé being more of a tomboy. Their opposite personalities and style is what makes their brand an ideal complement.

The name of their label speaks of their style which is a combination of something a little feminine and a little masculine. The Toronto-born womenswear label has a fusion of subtle yet elegant fashion pieces. Famous faces like Lady Gaga, Michelle Obama, Selena Gomez, Chloë Grace Moretz have been loving and styling Beaufille’s fashion pieces.

The label not only offers classic-contemporary fashion pieces but also sells jewellery and accessories. Both the sisters have their own roles in the company. Chloé designs clothing and fabric whereas Parris focuses on the jewellery line. The duo’s combined work has turned out to be an absolute complement.

Today, their pieces are sold on websites such as Hudson’s Bay, Nordstrom, Farfetch and many more.
