In order to stay sane in this whole situation, one thing that I have found is that we have to try to maintain some level of normality. I think it’s important that even while you’re at home you don’t go straight to existing solely in your pajamas , it never hurts to put a little extra effort in to feel good about yourself, where you are, and what you’re doing. Allowing ourselves to put that extra effort in our appearances will actually help us be more positive and productive in this situation, or at least that’s my opinion so let’s get started with our styling tips!
For the foreseeable future our places of work will be limited to our homes so we might as well ditch the notion of workplace attire, switch out your suit jacket for a sweat suit for the ultimate comfy fit! Consider giving any old sweat suits a refresh by tie-dying, one of the biggest trends for the summer.
Set It Up
Perhaps like many during this time you want to put some work into your physical health, start your new and improved home workout routine, but not before stepping into your favourite gym outfit and that’s the key, make it your favourite set! The one that makes you feel the best about yourself or perhaps the one that’s your favourite colour.
All About Accessories
Now I don’t know about any of you but when I come home normally, I’ll take off all my jewelry right away, but now even if I’m not going anywhere, I’ll put on a few of my more basic pieces just to brighten my day. It may not seem like much but you’d be surprised what a difference it makes in your mood overall. Putting something on that brings you joy whether it be a beautiful silk scrunchie, or a crazy pair of socks.
So I hope this article helped inspire you to up your isolation outfits, it doesn’t seem like a particularly important thing at the moment but I don’t want anyone to forget to allow themselves some comfort and joy through all this difficulty. Thanks for reading and stay safe!
