While it never lasts long, there’s no denying the weather is warming up and while we’re nowhere near it yet you may want to start considering your new spring purchases. In today’s article, I’ll be outlining this spring’s trends you need to keep your eyes on.

Flared jeans

High waisted jeans have been one of the most popular styles for many seasons, typically the initial choice is to buy a pair that has a 90’s mom jean look, perhaps you even thrift your jeans but recently all the styles I’ve seen have been flared leg jeans especially cropped flared leg jeans. Jeans hitting below the ankle give more of a 70’s vibe whereas the cropped jeans will tend to feel more modern.

Basket Bags

A great way of promoting the use of reusable bags while also being a fashion item. This bag can be used as a purse or more like a tote all while giving off a classic vibe. Add this bag to your collection to feel like you are on a permanent vacation even if you are just using it as your tote bag for school.

Denim Shorts

Taking its lead from last year’s biker short craze, denim shorts are back but with a bit of a twist; a longer length. You may have already seen your favourite Influencer rocking them but besides looking cute these shorts are so comfortable, due to the length you never have to worry about them riding up. If you can get past the fact that they kind of remind you of shorts you wore in elementary school, these nostalgic shorts will have you looking stylish in the warmer months!

Puffy blouses

Reminiscent of garments worn in renaissance paintings, these blouses make a statement while still keeping a sense of classic beauty, this blouse will elevate a simple pair of jeans or go amazing with something like a silk slip skirt for a more formal event. Seen on influencers and models this style will become a perfect spring staple!

Thanks so much for reading and hopefully this article has flagged some of the season’s trends, keep your eyes on these styles and consider adding them to your spring Wishlist happy shopping!
